  • Introduction And Dua

May Allah [swt] give us Ikhlas (sincerity) and Sidq (truthfulness) and open for us the door of Jannah and close the door of Jahannam. Ameen!

How many people are right now over the internet playing games? How many people are right now over the internet, chatting with each other? How many people are right now over the internet, committing sins?

How many people are right now abusing their time and destroying themselves and forget the fact that they are going to meet Allah [swt] and that they are going to die and that at this moment they will be held accountable for everything they say and do?

The lucky one is the one Allah [swt] accepts and makes him/her pure to Allah alone. The lucky one will be joining the Prophet (saw) and his companions. The lucky one is the one Allah saves, from the torture of Jahannam. The lucky one is the one who gains the pleasure of Allah.

Therefore the first thing we need to do is thank Allah [swt] for choosing us to be among the people who are willing and desiring to listen about him, to learn and to get closer to him. This is a bounty, a bounty that is above all bounties.

Some of the companions of Prophet [saw] or the majority of them, at the time of their death had just one dress or no dress to wear at all but they were so elevated and so beloved to Allah [swt]. Those were the successful ones; the ones who died and gained the pleasure and, rahmah of Allah. May Allah [swt] make us among them! Ameen.

So the first thing we have to do now is thank Allah [swt] and ask Him to give us sincerity, Ask Allah to open for us his bounty because this is the pleasure of Allah.

Let's go through some of the letters of Allah [swt] and after that we shall elaborate on them.

In a hadeeth Qudsi, Allah says:

I, Mankind and Jinn are in a great serious state. I create them, then they worship other gods that they make for themselves; I provide for them and they thank other than me!

My Mercy descends to them while their evil deeds ascend to Me.

I endear them with my gifts even though I have no need to any of them while they alienate themselves from Me with their sins even though they are desperate for my help.

Whoever returns to Me, I accept him no matter how far he is; and whoever turns away from Me, I approach him and call on him. Whoever leaves a sin for my sake (Tawwabeen), I reward him with many gifts and whoever seeks to please Me (Mutatahereen), I seek to please him. I will forgive those who try to obey me.

Whoever disobeys Me, I keep the doors of My Mercy open for him; if he returns to Me (makes Taubah), I bestow him with My Love since Ilove those who repent and purify themselves for My Sake. If he does not repent, I still treat him by putting them in hardship to purify him.

I reward every single good deed ten times over or seven hundred times over to countless times over. I count every single bad deed as one unless the person repents and asks for My Forgiveness in which case I forgive even that one. I deal with my slave servant with mercy and I am more merciful to him than a mother over her own son.

Hadeeth Qudsi Regarding Youth and The Committing of sins

Allah [swt] says, "Oh son of Adam don't be too happy and arrogant with your youth. How many people have died before they have gotten older? Oh Son of Adam do not be happy with your duniya(this world), you will never stay there. Son of Adam be shy of me when you are committing sins, I will be shy of you and shall not torture you.

    Hadeeth Qudsi About Allah's Gifts

Oh, son of Adam, I have guaranteed bounty for you that you cannot calculate and thank me enough for. Among all the gifts that I have given you, I've given you the gift of two eyes and a cover for these two eyes.

Look only at what I have made Halal for you. If you see of what does not belong to you cover your eyes.

I have given you a tongue, and I have created this tongue with a cover. Don't say except of what I command you to say. If a situation

arises, close your mouth and do not move your tongue. I have given you a private part, And I have given you a cover for that. Use it for what is halal… and if the time comes and you want to put it in haraam, cover yourself and do not do it.

Allah also says: "Oh, son of Adam; you cannot handle my anger and you cannot handle my revenge and my torture. "

Revenge between human beings is always based with injustice, but the revenge of Allah is completely filled with justice and wisdom. HE is the owner and the creator and he can do whatever he wants.

Letter From Allah [swt] to Musa [a.s]

    Bismillahi RehmaniRaheem!
    From Allah [swt] the king, Al Jabbar, Al Azeez, Al Qahhaar;
    To,
His Servant and Prophet Musa, ibn Imran.

Praise me and elevate me. There is no one worthy of worship except me and do not associate partners (shirk) with me. Thank Me and your parents for you are coming to me, and I will give you life full of happiness.

Do not kill a soul. It is not permitted for you, (for e.g. the only time you are permitted to kill is when somebody tries to harm or kill you in self-defense), I will make the earth and sky tight around you. Do not swear by my name with lies. I will not purify or elevate someone who does not respect Me.

Do not be a witness for something you do not hear nor see by yourself because it is a trust and you will be questioned about it in the Day of Judgment. Do not look to what I give others and do not envy them, or become jealous (Hasad) towards them. The one who does so; is the enemy of me and has betrayed my na'mah and has angered me.

Do not commit Zinah (adultry), and do not steal for I will veil my face between you and me and close the door of your dua and you will never be able reach me. I will close the door of the skies and the earth for you. Do not betray the neighbors' wife I despise it. Love for the people what you love for yourself and dislike for the people what you dislike for yourself.

Conversation between Musa [AS] and Allah [swt] that is full of wisdom

Once Musa [a.s], had a commitment to talk to Allah [swt] in a specific place. Allah asks Musa [a.s], "Oh Musa what do you want?"

Musa [a.s] replied: "I want guidance."

Allah says: "You will find it Oh Musa."

Musa [a.s] replied: "Ya Rabbi, (Oh my Lord) who is a beloved servant to you?"

Allah [swt] says: "The one who remembers me

    and does not forget Me."
Musa [a.s] asks Allah [swt]: "Oh my lord, who is the most just servant of yours?"

Allah [swt] replies, "The one who follows the truth and does not follow his desires.

Musa [a.s] asks Allah: "Oh Allah who is the most knowledgeable servant of yours?

Allah [swt] replies: The one who seeks knowledge even if it is one word that can benefit him and the one who gets away from doing wrong.

Abd Allah ibn Masud [r.a] narrated; Once Musa [a.s] saw a man sitting near the throne of Allah [swt] i.e. Al Arsh. He asks Allah [swt], Ya Rabbi (Oh my lord) Who is that? He [swt] replied, he is my slave servant who never did Hasad and never looked at what Allah gave to others. He was kind to his parents, and did not walk with nameema (talking about others).

    Another Hadeeth Qudsi

Oh my servant, you are not shy of me, how can you desire my Jannah without any action? How can you want me to grant my Rahma (mercy) to one who is stingy with me?

A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated:

I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying:

'If anyone seeks Allah's satisfaction at the expense of people's anger, Allah will be pleased with him and will cause people to be pleased with him. However, if anyone seeks people's satisfaction at the expense of Allah's anger, Allah will be angry with him and will cause people to be angry with him.'
(Related by Ibn Hibban in his Authentic Book)

    Hadeeth Qudsi About Prayer

It was narrated from Jaabir ibn 'Abd-Allaah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "If a person prays to Allah and Allah loves him, He says 'O Jibreel, meet the need of this slave of Mine, but delay it, for I love to hear his voice.' If a person prays to Allah and Allah hates him, He says, 'O Jibreel, meet the need of this slave of Mine and give it to him immediately, for I hate to hear his voice."
